Hello, My name is Georgia. I am a WAHM (work at home Mom) of 3 beautiful children. My youngest, Stephanie has Down syndrome and Heart defect. I've always sewn for my children, it's something i enjoy doing. With Stephanie though I had to sew out of necessity. Most of the special things I made for Stephanie you can't buy anywhere and if I could the price would be too far out of my reach to afford it. So I made special cloths and other items for my daughter when she had her first surgery. I started this small business at the urging of my daughter's therapist Sarah who was one of my first customers. I know that most the families who need these things are on a limited income just like us so I try to keep the prices of the things I make as low as possible. I'm sure I don't charge as much as I should or could but as long as I make enough to cover my costs and pay for my time I'm happy.
I get most of my ideas for the items I make from my own daughter's needs and parents of other special needs kids who write me and ask "can you make this.........?". I can't always but I do enjoy trying. Don't be afraid to write and ask if I can make a custom item. I may not be able to but I'll give it a try.
BTW "CG" in CG Designs stands for Coffee Goddess .. yep that's me I'm the coffee goddess. You'll never see me without a cup of coffee at hand. It seems like I've always got a fresh pot brewing.

She had been flown there from Swedish Hospital in Seattle 2 weeks earlier as a last ditch effort to save her life. It worked! She had just come off life support, I know I look awful but I still love this picture.
